just joined the #Apple channel. I have the ATT 3G card (am using it now, in fact) and am using it on a MacBook Pro. You'll need to use http://www.novamedia.de/epages/eproduktemacl2n.html to make it work optimally. It isn't perfect, but it's both the network (hate AT&T, but wanted an iPhone) and the drivers (definitely some buffer overflows in their driver code). It's stable enough for extended use, you'll just have to reboot a tad more often than you probably do now.
